What's New in r219.2
Release r219.2 was published on 7 Oct, 2020
The Chrome 86 release this week was supposed to enable the local file/folder saves by default, but to our surprise, this release also completely redesigned the underlying feature for file system access. This meant we had to update a lot of code to get it to re-enable the feature in Construct. We've done this for a beta release to make sure the feature comes back, and also get further testing to ensure our updated code works properly, before deciding whether we back-port that to the stable release. We also fixed a related issue that was just discovered with saving local folder projects.
Other than that, there's also now support for mesh distortion on Tiled Backgrounds that made this release, so you can try the new feature there too! In case you missed it, see the r219 release notes for everything new in that release, including mesh distortion, in-app reviews on Android, a new Voice Recorder example, and more.
