What's New in r96
Release r96 was published on 23 Apr, 2018
This build adds improved support for clipboard operations (cut, copy and paste), particularly in the Layout View. Thanks to new clipboard features being added to browsers, we can now avoid the "copy failed" prompt, and also show "paste" menu items. Currently this is only supported in Chrome 66+ (only recently out - check Chrome's about page to update), but we expect it to be implemented in other browsers in future. The main difference is you now may see a permission prompt asking if you'd like to allow Construct to use the clipboard. Make sure you click Allow in order to allow clipboard operations to work successfully. If you click Block then clipboard operations won't work until you adjust the site permissions again.
We have a couple of additions to the NW.js plugin ensuring you can reliably open documents bundled as project files. The new C3 runtime has a couple of updates, and other than that there's the usual batch of bug fixes. We'd like to do a stable update soon, particularly to ensure the stable channel works correctly on Safari given the recent changes, so please test carefully and report any issues you find!
