What's New in r98
Release r98 was published on 30 Apr, 2018
It's a new stable release of Construct 3! If you're updating from the last stable release r94.2, then this update includes changes from r95, r95.2, r96 and r97. For full details see those changelogs.
We're also trying out something new: a video with release highlights. Check it out and let us know what you think.
Highlights since the last stable release include:
- A new RPG-style demo game 'Demonoire'. See the blog post for more information!
- You can now try out the C3 runtime alpha. See the blog post for more details on how to enable it and try it out. There's also a few new plugins available in the C3 runtime based on splitting up the User Media plugin, including a new Game Recorder plugin.
- Improved support for clipboard (copy & paste) in Chrome 66+. (Other browsers should add support too in future.)
- Workaround for a bug in Safari 11.1 which may have caused issues using Construct 3 previously.
We'll be starting a new beta release update cycle soon. If you'd like to help test it, try the new beta release opt-in: choose "Notify me about updates for beta releases" in Settings. If you want to try out the C3 runtime we recommend testing it in the latest beta release since it will be changing regularly. Stay tuned for more updates!
